1. Who we are and what these terms cover

columbiadatagroup.com is operated by Columbia Groundwork Inc., a Washington corporation that does business as Columbia Data Group (“Columbia Data Group,” “we,” “us”). These terms apply when you browse the site or send us a message through it. By using the site you agree to them.

2. Our services are under a separate agreement

Nothing on this site is an offer or a quote. Work for a client starts only under a signed proposal or service agreement, and that agreement governs the work, the price, ownership of what we build and each side’s responsibilities. If these terms and a signed agreement conflict, the signed agreement controls.

Our software products, including Eavedesk, have their own terms on their own websites, which govern the use of those products.

3. Examples, screenshots and descriptions

Screenshots of our apps may show sample or fictional records. Project examples, timelines and results described on the site are illustrations, not a promise of the same result for your business. Services marked “coming soon,” including drone services, are not yet available to book.

4. General information, not professional advice

What we publish about AI, websites, search, advertising and software is general information. It is not legal, tax, financial or engineering advice. Check requirements for your business with a qualified professional.

5. Using the site

Use the site lawfully. Do not interfere with its operation or security, attempt to reach areas or data you are not authorized to reach, use automated means to send messages or overload the site, or submit another person’s details without their permission. When you contact us, give accurate contact information. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it.

6. Our content and names

The text, design, images, video and software on the site belong to us or our licensors. You may view them and share links to our pages. Do not copy, republish or sell site content, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission. “Columbia Data Group,” “Eavedesk” and their logos are our trade names and marks.

7. Links to other sites

The site links to other websites, including our product sites and social media pages. We are not responsible for the content or practices of sites we do not control.

8. Disclaimer

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not promise the site will be uninterrupted or error free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the site, and our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars. This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, and it does not change any signed agreement with a client.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute about the site will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Cowlitz County, Washington, and you and we consent to that venue.

11. Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page with a new date. The version posted when you use the site applies.
